In 2007, an infection left Auristela Nunez paralyzed from the ribs down. The Chicago-based associate banker was told she’d never walk again. Despite the odds, Auristela set her sights on recovery. Throughout her time in physical therapy, it was her kids and her passion for dance that kept her motivated. “It helped my body feel happy.
